A favourite trick of mine to liven up a plain outfit is to wear jewellery that makes a statement. Most often I go for necklaces because they help define and shape the neckline. A snazzy necklace can instantly transform an outfit, taking it from ordinary to eye-catching. At first I wasn’t sure what to wear with it, but while going through some old clothes I found this faux wrap top. I must have had it about fifteen years given the number of house moves it’s seen, but I’ve hardly worn it. I like how the dusky pink shade matches the cut-out components of the necklace and contrasts with the yellow flowers. Suede wedge boots and a crossbody bag in berry tones complement the top and keep the colour palette simple.

It’s made of zinc so is lightweight but not at all flimsy. All components of Happiness Boutique’s sample products undergo strict laboratory tests for lead, nickel and cadmium content.
