It’s feeling very autumnal here now so it’s time to start wearing boots and layering up. Although it’s not exactly cold, it is windy which makes it feel cool. This is the ideal time to wear a shacket – a cross between a shirt and a shacket. I actually planned to wear this Scotch and Soda leopard print shacket for another post, but I have a stinking cold and didn’t have another set of photos in the bag. I really didn’t feel like getting dressed up yesterday and today to be honest. So, I will revert to plan B for the post I’d planned this outfit for!
I first featured this safari shirt/shacket just over a year ago. Isobel joined me in that post and it’s incredible to see how much she’s grown in that time! I’ve paired the shirt with dark jeans again, but I’ve switched ankle boots for long ones and the big bag for a smaller one. The hat plays on the safari vibe, although the only four-legged creatures to be found here are cats! I first bought this hat in black from Zara in the Galeries Lafayette in Paris. I loved it so much I went back to buy this colour the next day and it had already sold out. Luckily I found one in Manchester when I got back. I love fedoras and have about six in different colours!
