You’ve probably gathered from some of my recent posts that I’m a fan of the Mary Portas collection at House of Fraser. The pieces are so versatile, flattering and comfortable – a combination that’s often hard to come by. These trousers are no exception, they feel so soft and silky and could easily take you from office to night out.
For a smart casual look I’m wearing them with a jacket from Zara, which is almost a perfect colour match. The royal blue and oatmeal contrast nicely; teaming a bright colour with a neutral keeps it grounded and makes it easier to wear. For a bolder look I’d swap the oatmeal jumper for one in pink, green or maybe yellow…and add some fun shoes!
