I’m back in the garden for today’s post. It seems like ages since we shot outfit photos at home. I have thoroughly enjoyed my recent travels and can’t wait to go abroad again, whenever and wherever that may be! I’m taking a train trip tomorrow for work down to Birmingham, and then on Friday I’ll be driving to Peterborough to bring my mum over to see Isobel crowned as Rose Queen on Saturday. As well as getting Isobel ready I’ll be doing a stint on the stall to raise funds for the PKD charity. So lots to do this week, including getting a cake and bouquet – it’s almost like being mother of the bride!
One thing that hasn’t gone to plan is my training for the Manchester 10k. The day before I went to Madeira I had to pull up abruptly four miles in to what should have been a 10k run. I’ve since tried to run twice and both times have ended prematurely with severe calf muscle pain. I’m hoping it’s not a tear but given how sore it is I’m fearing the worst. So that means no race on the 22nd. It’s typical – the first time I enter a race in years and I get injured! I will just have to be patient and find other ways to workout for a few weeks.
Anyway, enough of my aches and pains, let’s talk about the outfit instead. Lilac and emerald green is a great colour combination for spring, mirroring the blossom and abundant greenery. It’s not the first time I’ve worn this blouse and trousers together; previously, I teamed them with a green trench coat and cap. This time I’ve changed my hat and sunglasses. I like how the fedora contrasts with the feminine bow blouse. I’ve also switched bags because I’m debuting my gorgeous new Teddy Blake bag.
You may have seen other bloggers feature Teddy Blake bags recently. This fabulous lilac bag should have been with me much sooner, in fact it got to my front door but the Parcelforce courier didn’t leave a note. As I didn’t know they’d attempted delivery I had no idea it was being held at the depot. Eventually I found out using the tracking number just before I went on holiday. However, Parcelforce messed up again and sent it back to the U.S! Thankfully the lovely people at Teddy Blake were very understanding and sent it back to me (with a different courier). Sometimes it feels as though nothing is ever straightforward with me!

Oh it didn’t went well at my doorstep either with the bag. But the people of Teddy Blake were very understanding and super kind. I’m sorry that you couldn’t do the run. But enjoy the crowning and rase a lot of money!

I hope you get well soon and you can run again.
Have a wonderful wednesday, XO Tina
I love the color of those pants! I’m so sorry to hear you are injured! It’s so frustrating when you’ve been training to have that happen. I’m currently dealing with tendonitis that decided to occur during a race that had very smooth training. So annoying! I hope you recover soon!
Such a beautiful look! I love your top and rings. Thanks for the party.
Love the lilac!
