Green Jumpsuit and Hat – Tuktuk Tour of Funchal + Style With a Smile Link Up

Green Jumpsuit and Hat - Tuktuk Tour of Funchal, Pico's Fortress

Hello, how’s your week going so far? I’m still in a state of disarray after getting back from Madeira in the early hours of Saturday morning. There are cases and piles of clothes everywhere after two trips abroad last month. It’s a nice problem to have though I suppose! I only had a 15kg luggage allowance as I was only there Monday to Friday…but that didn’t stop me from making a few holiday purchases! In fact I bought this green jumpsuit and hat in Caniço de Baixo (well actually my Dad treated me to the jumpsuit). It’s pretty much an exact replica of the orange jumpsuit and hat I wore in Barbados…it’s a winning holiday formula!

On Wednesday we decided to do something very touristy…take a tuktuk tour of Funchal! Tukway offers lots of different tours of the island, or you can create your own. For only 40 euros for the first hour, then 20 for the next, it’s great value for money for three people. Our driver Andreia was so friendly and knowledgeable; there are so many places I want to explore in more detail when I go back. I wish I could remember everything she told us! We made several stops for photos and a look around, making it a very relaxed excursion. I highly recommend taking a tuktuk tour if you’re visiting Funchal!

Have you ever been in a tuktuk?

Lucky you to have dad buying you a lovely jumpsuit! I’ve been a tuk tuk once, in Sri Lanka. It wasn’t a pretty open top one like yours x

Emma I love green. Great you bought this jumpsuit. You look amazing. In Sri Lanka you can drive 1 hour by Tuktuk for 1,50 Euro. So different are the prices Europa and Asia.

You look lovely in this green jumpsuit Emma. Love your hat. We visited Funchal a few years ago and fell in love with its beauty, food and people. My first experience in a tuktuk was in Thailand and was as fancy as yours but we had a lot of fun. Enjoy your holiday

You’re right, Emma. That is the perfect ensemble for a holiday abroad! I love the green jumpsuit and it looks fabulous with the denim jacket too. A small group of us went on a tuck tuck in Lisbon earlier this year. It’s great fun, isn’t it?!

A jumpsuit is such an easy outfit for travel. It’s a “one and done” but the pants (vs. dress) can be so much more practical when you are going to be climbing in and out of a tuktuk and sightseeing. Stop by and see the nearly all green look that I wore earlier this week!
