I couldn’t resist this multicoloured faux fur gilet I found on eBay, especially for only £12.99 and free postage. It was only available in a size small so I expected it to be quite snug but there’s plenty of room on the bust. It has one hook and eye fastening at the top that’s hidden by the faux fur. I’ve previously worn it over a black jumper but the mild spring weather made me crave some bright yellow. I love this time of year when the blossom appears on the trees, the garden is waking up after what feels like a very long winter.
Do you remember those dark green cords from Coast that I’ve worn in several posts? Well they’ve been such a great addition to my wardrobe that I bought them in black too. They’re reduced to £27 and according to the website there’s only one pair left in a size 10, so if you want them go grab them now!
I’ve really taken to wearing a vest or gilet over a roll neck top lately; a sleeveless layer provides extra warmth without the bulk on the arms. This multicoloured faux fur gilet feels so snug and cosy – perfect for chilly spring days. Although it’s quite flamboyant, it’s actually fairly versatile on account of the mix of colours. I can team it with yellow, hot pink, teal and black so I have plenty of styling options. A faux fur gilet looks great with flared jeans, maxi dresses and tailored trousers. The only downside is they do take up a bit of room in the wardrobe – if it wasn’t for that I’d have more!

I found these Marks & Spencer boots on eBay and managed to snag them for just £5! They’d only been worn once or twice so they were a fabulous bargain. There was a brand new identical pair in my size with a starting price of £20 so I was really pleased to buy these for such a great price.
Don’t look to my earrings for an accurate weather forecast – we haven’t had any rain for a few days, which makes a change! The colours just matched my outfit so well that I had to wear them. Maybe I could add a few more pairs to my collection to cover any weather scenario!
