After spending our first full day in Paris walking around in the heat and climbing the hundreds of steps up the Eiffel Tower it was time for some fun and relaxation! We soon found ourselves back at the tower for a cruise on the Seine which was the perfect way to see the city on a warm summer’s evening.

The cruise ended back near the Eiffel Tower just in time to see it sparkle, as it does every evening at 10pm for five minutes. After that it was on to the Moulin Rouge for the most fantastic show, with spectacular acrobatic routines, fabulous costumes and a woman wrestling with huge snakes in a tank of water on the stage! Oh and course there was the Can Can!
Watching the show while sipping champagne was the perfect end to a truly fabulous day.
Oh Emma, you’ve bought back some happy memories of my trip to Paris Y-E-A-R-S ago! Visiting the Eifel tower and the Moulin Rouge ( where our male friend couldn’t believe the girls were topless!) We didn’t have a boat trip, but visited plenty of fantastic restaurants including ‘au pied de cochon’ at about 2 am!! Thank you so much for allowing me to re-visit this beautiful city. xx You look amazing by-the-way. x xxx
