I love the colours in this Bolongaro Trevor dress and it’s a joy to wear – it makes a statement without exposing too much flesh. The colour is described as “chilli” on the tag and it certainly has a fiery quality to it. In terms of style it was a bit of a change for me as I usually don’t go for high necklines but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the dress on.
I teamed it with a neutral bag and sandals. This tones down the red hot chilli pepper effect and keep the emphasis on the dress. There are splodges of cream in the print so they pick up on those. It’s a bit like having salsa and sour cream – all I needed was some guacamole to complete the set! I’ve added some bracelets from Asos and a chunky ring that I bought from Secret Sales to complete the look.
In cooler weather I could wear this dress with navy tights and ankle boots. I could also layer a thin long sleeve top underneath it as it’s quite a loose fit. I love being able to adapt my clothes to the seasons 🙂
