There are some fantastic sales on at the moment and I’ve treated myself to a (ahem) “few” new things. As the British summer is so fickle I was able to wear this khaki biker jacket earlier in the year than I expected. It’s a beautifully soft fabric with a faux suede finish. I’m seriously thinking of buying it another colour because I love it so much. My biggest sale splurge by far was in Zara, which is where I bought these cropped trousers. They pair perfectly with the jacket, so I combined the two shades of khaki with red accents to give the outfit a punch of colour.
I’ve had the red embellished vest top for well over a decade and I don’t wear it very much now, so it was good to give it an airing. It’s quite short so I can only wear it with high waisted trousers (I don’t like baring my midriff!). I chose a red bag to match the top, but I wanted to introduce a third colour so I opted for a chunky teal bracelet. I also added a pair of gold and turquoise earrings that I bought from the local Makers Market a few years ago. Red and teal/turquoise is one of my favourite colour pairings.
These nude sandals are also a sale purchase. Near to where I work there’s a Clarks outlet store and sometimes I like to wander over and tempt myself π As soon as I tried these on I knew I had to have them because despite the high heel they’re really comfortable. That combination is hard to find, and they were less than half price!

Thanks Shelbee! The tee is so old, but then I never get rid of anything…sometimes that works in my favour!
Emma, I love the red tee and am such a fan of khaki and olive, love these neutrals especially in the summer . The moto looks fabulous on you and I love the teal bracelet. I love chunky bracelets even though I don’t own many! I have bought a couple of items but didn’t go crazy! :-))

Thanks Jess! I was so pleased when I tried the jacket on, it’s lovely and soft, and not at all heavy or bulky. I’ll be wearing it lots over summer and early autumn.
I love that you added in a third color, Emma!!
I’ve been trying to do that more and more, but habits are hard to break!!

Thanks Jodie! I do like a third colour, even if it’s just a piece of jewellery.
LOVE the jacket Emma! And the graphic tee is pretty fabulous too; it adds a casual edge to the dressier pants. π

I know what you mean about being able to wear layers in cooler summer temps — it can get quite chilly up here in the U.S. Pacific Northwest as well. Your graphic tee is fabulous, and I like how your nail polish plays off the color scheme as well π
Thank you Jen!
A super colour co-ordination, love it Emma. x Jacqui

Emma, khaki and red make a wonderful pairing and even more so with the pop of turquoise in your bracelet. All of the details in your outfit come together so well and you look quite chic. Thanks for the inspiration and for the link up.

The pops of red look beautiful against your khaki pieces! I really like this moto jacket and its neutral color. I do admit to purchasing a few things I did not need at all during the holiday sales this week…
