Spring can’t come soon enough for me but one of the positives about the cold weather (and let’s face it, there aren’t many) is wearing a fabulous snuggly faux fur coat. I scored another Matalan bargain with this one – reduced to £22! I absolutely love it – it’s so warm and feels really nice on…it’s my super furry animal coat!
The shirt and bag were also sale finds – both from the Mary Portas range at House of Fraser. I have a few pieces from this range – they tend to size on the large side, particularly the shirts. I’m sure they’re meant to be oversized, but you will probably need to size down unless you want a really voluminous fit.
The bag strap is detachable so it can be worn across the body or as a clutch, making it a great bag to use for both the office and a night out. It’s a decent size too – big enough to fit all of your essentials…and a few non-essentials 😉
You’ve probably seen this See by Chloe black pencil skirt many times before, it’s a work wardrobe staple. It has some stretch to it so it’s comfortable and holds its shape. I also have the red version, which bizarrely is a smaller fit despite being the same size.
I bought the Kenneth Jay Lane ring in the Net-a-Porter sale at a snip. The contrast of the stones against the bright gold really appealed to me. We all need a bit of brightness to lift our spirits on a cold and grey day! I’ve also added my favourite Les Néréides Paris necklace. I adore their quirky and unusual designs, especially those inspired by nature and my favourite city!
That ring is wicked! I love KJL jewellery. I’d probably end up inadvertently clawing myself with those pointy corners.
