In my last post I said that I hadn’t been wearing skirts much lately due to the practicalities of starting work early in the morning. Well, I decided my legs were in dire need of some fresh air and (after making them look a little less pasty with some fake tan) I pulled this fabulous flared midi skirt out of the wardrobe. I bought it some months ago on Ebay but had forgotten all about it until I reorganised my wardrobe.
Going through a suitcase full of holiday clothes I also rediscovered a much loved embellished top from Zara which I’ve had for years. Although it wasn’t intentional, the outfit has a certain ’50s vibe to it which I really like! Although I almost never wear red lipstick I thought it would be the perfect finishing touch to the black and white stripes.

I couldn’t decide which was my fave, the sunnies or the skirt. As such, my love shall be equally divided between the two 🙂
Thank you Sheela 🙂
