I haven’t been wearing skirts much lately – when I start work at 6.30am it’s often quite chilly so trousers are the practical option, but rotating black and navy gets a bit boring, so opting for a pair of bright and colourful trousers makes a nice change. These mustard peg leg trousers are from Asos; I buy most of my trousers from Asos, mainly because I like the fit, but also because there is such a wide range of colours and styles.
Mustard makes quite a colour statement so I paired the trousers with a black top, jacket and bag. I did contemplate wearing black shoes but I thought they would have been too heavy. Instead I chose these sand-coloured sandals which create an elongating effect. They are very comfortable despite the heel – so much so that I also bought them in a brown and navy colourway. The elasticated strap keeps them securely on my feet without any pinching or rubbing. They’re the kind of sandals that go with anything, and they were only £9 in the sale too (which is why I bought two pairs!).
Trousers: Asos, jacket and shoes: M&S, bag: Modalu, necklace: Wallis.

I have the same issue with skirt or dress too when I am working. I left home the similar time and boy it was chilly! 😉 Love this outfit on you today. So much fun! Have a great weekend!
By the way, I started my own link up and it will be every Wednesday. Don’t forget to stop by! 🙂
