Today’s outfit has a bit of a 70’s feel to it. The flared trousers are from Asos and the vest from Zara. I bought the H&M chunky wooden necklace a few years ago and I always get compliments whenever I wear it. I made the turquoise and gold bead bracelet myself by unpicking necklaces I bought in charity shops. It adds a bit of colour to a neutral outfit and introduces a third colour.
I’ve broken up the shades of brown with a hint of mustard on my feet. These court shoes were an impulse sale buy one lunchtime several years ago from New Look. I’d never worn them before (I’d actually forgotten all about them!) but I think they’ll get a bit more use from now on! Mustard is a surprisingly versatile shade and pairs well with lots of other colours. I can see me wearing these shoes with black, grey, navy and maybe even purple trousers.
