Hello, I hope you’ve all been having a great week! I mentioned in my last post that I had two more jumpsuits to show you. This black split sleeve jumpsuit is very similar to the red one in terms of fit and fabric. A bright red jumpsuit might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but everyone should have a classic black one. This one shoulder split sleeve design shows just enough flesh for my liking. It’s stylish without being too “look at me”. I think showing a bit of shoulder is far sexier than a short dress. (And I say that as someone who likes my shoulders much more than my legs!)
Jumpsuits and maxi dresses usually make up the majority of my holiday wardrobe, but it’s looking unlikely that I’ll be going abroad this year. However, if I do get the chance to go out, a stretchy jumpsuit like this one would be my outfit of choice. It seems a lot of us have got used to wearing comfortable clothes around the house during lockdown. As things start to slowly return to some semblance of normality, going back to wearing garments with zips and buttons could come as a bit of a shock! Those unforgiving fastenings hold us to account and keep us on track!
While it’s nice to dress up I don’t want to forgo the comfort factor. An outfit that’s both stylish and comfortable is what I want most – both for everyday and special occasions. This jumpsuit ticks both those boxes. Plus, it doesn’t crease – something to bear in mind for when I can travel again. And the comfort doesn’t end with the jumpsuit as these sandals are really kind to my feet despite the heels. They’re from a collaboration I did with Matalan several years ago (see the post here).
I chose silver accessories for this black split sleeve jumpsuit because metallics are a neutral…well at least I think so anyway! The snake print bag was a Christmas present from Pete some years ago. I rarely use it because it’s been stored at the back of the wardrobe. What I love about it most is the strap, because it looks like a bracelet…two for the price of one!

What a good jumpsuit! Of course I love black but this jumpsuit looks so very comfortable and is very elegant!
Absolutely gorgeous, Emma! You wear jumpsuits so well. I have not yet found one that looks right on me! I love the details on this one. The silver and snakeskin are the perfect complements to this jumpsuit.

They gifted you 3 very beautiful jumpsuits. This is definitely my favorite. Plus everyone needs a black jumpsuit! Love the cozy and wrinkle-free jersey material and the belt and split-sleeve. It looks comfortable and it looks super stylish. I love the silver accessories with it. Your ring and purse are stunners!
