I knew I’d been waiting a while to find the skirt to match this blouse. But it was only when I looked back through my blog archives that I realised just how long…six years! That has to be a record, even for me! I almost bagged one a couple of years ago when it popped up on Vinted, but someone beat me to it. Anyway, good things come to those who wait, and finally I have the matching set.
When I first bought the blouse, I paired it with black velvet trousers. I would still wear that outfit, but I prefer the skirt and blouse together. That said, the skirt would look great with a chunky jumper when it gets colder. Maybe even a jumper over the blouse. I will have fun experimenting with different combinations. Worn together, this Fabienne Chapot alien print co-ord makes a statement, but offers many other styling options as separates.
I’ve long been a fan of Fabienne Chapot, along with several other Dutch brands such as Pom Amsterdam and Scotch & Soda (recently featured). I only buy these labels on resale sites now as Brexit has made it too expensive to order directly from the brands’ websites. It’s more fun and much more affordable anyway! We’re hoping to visit Amsterdam in the not too distant future so I’m hoping to browse instore then. I’ve only been to Amsterdam once before and that was 19 years ago – my style was very different then!
