Fever Sunset Skirt and Burnt Orange Top

Fever Sunset Skirt and Burnt Orange Top

The nights are drawing in and there’s a distinct autumnal feel in the air. I took these photos after work just before the light started to go, which seemed appropriate as the Fever skirt I’m wearing is named “Sunset”. I bought it from Brand Alley for just £10. It’s made from a nice stretchy fabric and is lined – which is important with light-coloured skirts in order to avoid revealing too much!

I paired the Fever sunset skirt with a burnt orange top from the Betty Jackson Black range at Debenhams, which captures the sunset theme perfectly. For a more muted look I could opt for a navy shirt and shoes instead. The skirt would look great worn with any of the colours featured in the print. I finished off the look with neutral studded sandals from River Island and a chunky bracelet.

With the temperature dropping I’ve started to think about wearing tights again! It doesn’t feel as though I’ve had much wear out of my summer wardrobe this year. But on the plus side there are plenty of new season trends to get excited about.

Which trends are your favourites for A/W? BTW it’s exactly a year today since my first blog post so happy birthday Style Splash!
