Have you ever found something that gives you all the heart eyes emojis (quite literally, in this case!) only to discover it’s sold out in your size? Well, that’s what happened with this Sister Jane heart print bow blouse. I looked for alternatives but didn’t find one anywhere near as fabulous. Only one thing to do: set up an alert on eBay. After about a year of waiting my patience finally paid off. (I’m VERY determined at tracking down sold out pieces!) When I added the blouse to my watch list I didn’t immediately place a bid (you have to wait until the last seconds of the auction to seal the deal at the best price). But then to my surprise, the seller offered me a lower price…quite a bit lower than the starting bid. Needless to say, I didn’t hesitate in snapping it up!
When it arrived I certainly wasn’t disappointed. This gorgeous heart print bow blouse is even better than I expected; the fabric quality is excellent and doesn’t crease at all. Obviously the print is the main attraction, but it’s the details that really make this such a beautiful blouse: the ruffles, the bow and the pretty pearl buttons. Pink and red is a fabulous colour combination, so I decided to go all out with red culottes, bag and sunglasses. I bought these sunglasses for just a couple of pounds, with the intention of decorating them. However, the frame is thinner than I anticipated so I’ll probably leave them as they are.
My pink and red heart earrings are the perfect match for the blouse (I should have got a close up!). The metallic pink embellished shoes are so pretty but they cut into my bunions a bit. It’s a shame because the low block heel makes them really comfortable otherwise. If I’m going to be walking any distance I’ll switch them for my pink satin wedge espadrille sandals. Some cute pink trainers would look great too though.
