I’ve said before how I can’t resist an orange frill top and the same applies to statement sleeves (even better if they also happen to be orange!). I spotted this top on Vinted and it looked like my mint green jumper with sheer sleeves that I wear I lot. It was only £5 (plus postage) and brand new with tags. When I opened the parcel I thought it might be too small but thankfully it has a good amount of stretch to the knit. (It looks a lot like the Karen Millen jumper that I wore for a Stylish Monday post.) I often pair orange with another bright colour, such as green, blue or purple, so for a change I decided on leopard print.
I actually first paired leopard print and orange together last year, but on that occasion I was wearing orange trousers and a leopard print top. (I’ve also teamed those trousers with tiger print.) These trousers are from Marks and Spencer; I bought them in the summer sale. I’ve got several pairs of M&S trousers in this style – I love the elasticated waist and wide leg style, they’re so comfortable and easy to dress up. These are perfect for wearing with trainers, a T-shirt and a denim jacket for a casual outfit. But you could easily team them with sandals and a camisole for a more dressy look.
Metallics are really on trend at the moment, but I’ve always loved them. Gold is my favourite because it’s more flattering on my skin tone. And metallic hues go with everything, don’t they? I wear these gold trainers and this bag so much. I’m tempted to jump on the silver trousers trend but I’m not sure I’d wear them enough. Maybe some gold jeans though…not long until the Christmas sales now! On which note, I haven’t bought a single present or sent any cards. I should probably make a start!

This is such a great look. I love that you can get a deal on something and still look fashionable. The pop of colour mixed with the print is so fun.
