You may remember seeing this Madcap England retro print suit before; I featured it in this post in July. On that occasion I teamed it with a white shirt and yellow bag. This time I’ve added more colour with a bright green top and bag. Even though it’s not the same shade of green in the suit’s floral print, I’ve made it work by doubling up with the bag. As I wore this for work I chose trainers instead of boots. I hadn’t worn my Stan Smiths for a while and I was shocked by how much they rubbed my bunions. I knew they’d got worse but this confirmed it. I’m going to have to bite the bullet and get them operated on.
It was one of those rare days when me and Pete were working the same hours so we car shared and had lunch together. We went to Turtle Bay, a Caribbean restaurant, which was fabulous. I had a delicious vegan burger with a side of plantain…and we had mocktails as they were two for the price of one. It was all so tasty…luckily these trousers are slightly stretchy! Since taking these photos the weather has turned really warm, it’s like the summer we’ve been waiting for has suddenly arrived! It’s a good job I didn’t pack my summer clothes away – you never know what the British weather has in store!
