Is it me or has March flown by? I’m certainly glad of the lighter evenings since the start of BST at the weekend. I’m in the midst of a spring clean, well more of a purge, getting rid of all the crap that lingers in cupboards and drawers. If I want to keep some of mum’s stuff I need to make room in my own house for it, so that’s the mission I’m on at the moment.
Watching Stacey Solomon’s Sort Your Life Out is great inspo and motivation. If you’ve never seen it, a team of people skilled in DIY, upcycling and decluttering help out families who are overwhelmed with stuff. They pack all their possessions up and lay everything out in a warehouse, where they sort through it while the rest of the team give the house a makeover. My house isn’t quite that bad (apart from my dressing room!) but it’s very satisfying to see the transformation.
To welcome the longer days and warmer weather, Jacqui chose the theme of Muted Shades for March for our Style Not Age challenge. I chose soft pastel shades, predominantly pink, with this comfortable outfit. I’ve had these wide leg trousers for years, but I didn’t wear them because they were way too long. I finally got around to getting them taken up last year, so I can make full use of them this spring. I’ve teamed them with a pale green top and ombre cardigan from Vinted. My bag is really old but the classic design never goes out of style. I have it in a darker pink, turquoise and lime green too.

Jacqui is wearing a beautiful new dress and cardigan from Cotton Traders with a new bag from Elie Beaumont. Catch up with Jacqui over at Mummabstylish.

Anna colourful jeans are by Berksha, which she’s styling with a cardigan from TK Maxx, Dr Martens boots and sunglasses from Oliver Bonas. Head over to Anna’s Island Style to read more.

Hilda has teamed a pink knitted two piece bought on Vinted with jeans from Frame. See more of this outfit at Over the Hilda.

What a beautiful muted palette, Emma! It’s definitely Easter, though! I really love that cardigan! I hope you do have a wonderful Easter. I’m in the middle of cleaning out my closet…getting rid of things I don’t like, don’t feel like me, don’t fit, etc. It’s hard because I keep thinking, “But, what if…” which is the worst thing when you’re trying to get rid of things!

I love muted colours! Although mine are more n the darker area. But you all look very pretty. I know that tv series. It always amaze me that people can live in houses like that. I’m totally the opposite. I think a lot of people think it’s too empty in our house.
Such a wonderful cardigan Emma, it’s perfect for the challenge. Looking forward to next month’s now. Jacqui
