The Thrifty Six are back with more pre-loved outfits! Grace chose this month’s theme of jumpsuits and rompers. I only have a couple of second hand jumpsuits, both you’ve probably seen before. I found this orange jumpsuit in a charity shop a while back for only £6! It fits perfectly and is so comfortable. I’ve featured it on the blog a couple of times before…well, repeating outfits is thrifty after all! Its most recent appearance was for April’s Thrifty Six monochrome theme (Grace did the same, as you’ll see further down the post). But I first wore the jumpsuit almost a year ago for my 10th blog anniversary post. (I wore my other pre-loved jumpsuit for June’s Stylish Monday Coastal Chic post).
I’ve gone for a bold color contrast this time with a green vegan leather bag and jacket, plus a green bangle that I also bought in a charity shop. I wore this outfit to work last week, and to be honest, I really didn’t need the jacket. We’re coming to the end of a another heatwave here – not as hot as the last one, but still in the 30s. Rain is due tomorrow which will be a relief for many. The once green grass is scorched brown everywhere and doesn’t look very pretty. The only problem is, the ground is baked so hard it won’t soak up the rain so we may have flash floods. Maybe I’ll need to swap the sandals for wellies soon!

“I chose jumpsuits as this month’s thrifty theme a while back, I imagine with a particular outfit in mind… But by the time I actually went to photograph a look, I had no idea why I chose this theme! I ended up restyling this scarlet jumpsuit that I wore for our monochrome thrifty post a few months ago. I dressed it down to transition it into fall, pairing it with a denim jacket, flat sandals, and a fun leopard print belt.”
“So I had been looking for the perfect jumpsuit for a few seasons. And couldn’t find anything. And then you are “forced” to quickly find one, because Grace chose it as our theme, and then it turns out to be the perfect one! The color is beautiful, the legs are tapered and cropped, I like that, good sleeve length, the waist in the correct place. Everything about this jumpsuit is just right for me. And it’s also like new! It’s a beautiful shade of green, dark olive green, and that colour combines so perfectly with pink. But I could not resist adding a bit of gold too! Thanks Grace! Because I wouldn’t have bought this one without you!”
“I only have one jumpsuit in my wardrobe and thankfully it was thrifted! It’s white eyelet by Zara and I paired it with my preloved polka dot kimono in minty green with coordinating sandals and belt. My green beaded owl necklace is handmade and was gifted to me by Michelle of My Bijou Life. This is the third time I have styled this jumpsuit and it is proving to be much more versatile than I expected.”
“Rompers are the theme this August for the Thrifty Six…
…I’m romping through the enchanted forest in the magical morning light.
Sunrays cast arcs in shades of neon chartreuse…
…I add a dreamlike ambience with my fairy bubbles.
I wear my super swishy, soft and sensational slouch suit – it’s the rompiest romper I’ve ever seen!”
“You all know how animal print is always my print of preference- so how could I resist this cutest of jumpsuits? I purchased it from La Retro Girl Vintage who has some of the best vintage collections ever. I love the sailor back collar with the sweet fringe detail. But what I think I love most is how ample and freeing this style is!”

Emma, this color combination is so good! I love this orange jumpsuit on you and your green jacket really captured my heart! Such a fun, bold look! Our grass is also scorched here and it isn’t pretty. Soon it will be snow covered where I live and I will be putting away my sandals for snow boots! Haha.
