Hello, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! As it’s the last Monday of the month we’re back with another Style Not Age collaboration. It was my turn to set the theme this time which is “Welcome to the Jungle”. I’m sure you all know how much I love nature-inspired prints and motifs; a lot of my wardrobe is made up of animal and leafy prints. Recently the Guns ‘n Roses song Welcome to the Jungle came on the radio and it reminded me how much I loved that song (in fact the whole album) as a teenager. It sounds just as good now as it did then!
Anyway, on to the outfit. I deliberated over whether to go for a botannical print or the more obvious animal motifs. As most of my tropical leaf prints are in the form of holiday/beach clothes I decided to wear my leopard print Scotch & Soda suit. I’ve featured it on the blog once before with the same hat and bag. But this time I swapped the trainers and shirt for orange sandals and a tropical-themed vest top. This is my “welcome to my jungle office” look…kind of formal but also fun.
This vest must be at least fifteen years old and has been on many holidays. I don’t wear it much now because it’s a bit short. I think it might have shrunk in the wash at some point! Anyway, it’s fine as long as I don’t put my arms up! The neutral colour and deep V-neck lets the suit and tiger necklace take the spotlight. This fabulous wooden tiger necklace was a Christmas present from Pete (with a bit of direction from me of course!).

Isobel wanted to get in on the jungle action and promptly appeared in this pattern-mixing bobby dazzler of an outfit! She even borrowed my zebra ring to match her top…she loves rummaging in my jewellery!
Scotch & Soda suit (old) | Palava necklace (currently out of stock but I almost bought this one) | Miss Sixty sandals (old) | Zara hat (old) | Warehouse vest (old)
Anna has certainly captured the tropical jungle theme with a beautiful two piece (which was also a fantastic bargain!). The location is rather stunning too. Head over to Anna’s Island Style to see the full post.
Jacqui has chosen a fabulous leopard print jumpsuit accessorised with a gorgeous scarf. See more at Mummbstylish.
Gail has opted for a jumpsuit too, in a lovely tropical leaf print. Catch all the details over at Is This Mutton.
Hilda has borrowed a stunning Hayley Menzies cardigan from her daughter…I definitely wouldn’t want to give that back! Head to Over the Hilda for all the details.
