I’ve been having a little wardrobe reshuffle and getting some of my Summer clothes out of storage. It’s always fun to do because I rediscover clothes I’d forgotten about. I’ve had this zebra print dress for years, in fact I wore it for one of the first outfit posts almost eight years ago! I featured it again in 2012, but since then it’s been a bit neglected.
Going through my old posts to improve SEO has been very useful for jogging my memory about old outfits. That’s how I got the idea for wearing the orange Fever dress for the Style Not Age “Flaming June” theme. I’m planning on recreating lots of previously seen outfits over the Summer, and giving them a new lease of life. I haven’t changed too much with this outfit, teaming the zebra print dress with black and white accessories again. For a fun twist I could opt for shoes in a bright colour – maybe yellow, red or hot pink. Now there’s an idea for next time I wear the dress!
Talking about rediscoveries, I mentioned in last week’s post that I found this Olivia Burton watch in a cupboard. I won it as part of a bundle of goodies in another blogger’s competition but had never worn it. Well I’m making up for it by wearing it again this week. It matches the zebra print dress and my other accessories perfectly.
The sandals are also old favourites. I was gutted when the strap on one of them came away from the sole. They stayed in the box for a couple of years until I finally took them to a local cobbler who glued the strap for me. Now they’re almost as good as new 🙂

Thank you Nancy!
Emma, I do like rediscovering things in my closet! It’s crazy how we forget about them and fun to pull them out and restyle them. That dress is definitely a keeper! Lovely background, too.

Thanks Suzy! And you’re very welcome 🙂
Lovely outfit, it’s so nice to give a new lease of life to an outfit. x What a fabulous thing to see me featured on the blog – thanks so much you’ve really cheered me up! Having a real wobble at taking my own photos – they keep turning out c**p!! Thanks for sharing and hosting Emma. xx Jacqui Mummabstylish
Aw you’re so welcome Jacqui! I have tried to take my own photos but they never turn out great. Mind you, I don’t even have a tripod, and balancing the camera on a stack of boxes isn’t exactly a sensible thing to do!
Love those t strap sandals! The dress is beatiful , i love that zebra print is popular! The zebra is the mascot for EDS, since its a rare disease! Maybe I need a zebra dress, 🙂 Love all the jewelry, you have such a fun collection!
