I’ve had a few setbacks this week, hence this post (and link up) is a day late. On top of atrocious weather I’ve injured my knee and it was really sore yesterday so I had to rest it. I’m waiting on the results of an x-ray, but I’m guessing it’s soft tissue damage. I’m hoping it’s not arthritis that’s for sure! I tried using a knee support but it felt like my blood supply was being cut off! It may be connected to my foot problem, or it could be the energetic workouts I’ve been doing; I switched from running to crossfit workouts thinking it would be better for my foot…and now I’ve got foot AND knee pain!
Anyway, enough moaning. I dragged myself off the sofa once the rain had cleared and took these photos with my tripod and clicker. I bought this floral print bow blouse on Vinted for just a few pounds. At first I thought it was going to be too small but to my surprise it has a bit of stretch. I love the full sleeves and deep cuffs…I’m a big fan of pussy bows too. The floral print isn’t overly summery so it will work through the autumn and winter. “Moody blooms” is one of the key trends for A/W. I’m not sure if his print exactly fits that description, but it is more muted some of my other floral print outfits.
I was debating whether to pair the blouse with pink or blue trousers (remember I often buy items in multiple colours!). But as you can see, the pink won. Ivory ankle boots seemed like the obvious choice of footwear. I was very tempted to go with trainers due to my knee, but I wanted a change. For a fun touch I finished the outfit with this cute rainbow heart bag.

Love this blouse as the Emma version of “moody blooms”! It has some darkness in the background and the overall somewhat more muted tones that you mentioned, so I think it fits the bill very well.
Love this outfit on you, and that is such a pretty blouse for the transition! I am fond of floral prints, so moody blooms are a win! Also, love the rainbow heart bag so much I will be hunting for it on resale sites! I am slowly moving toward fall, but reluctant to change over my wardrobe, as we are lucky to be experiencing a lovely Indian summer. Thanks for sharing and hope your knee heals quickly!
Oh, that blouse is so pretty with the pussy bow and the fun sleeves! I think you could pair it with just about any color!
I’m so sorry about your knee. I have arthritis behind the knee cap which is, apparently, the worst place to have it. If I walk too much or too fast, it then feels like I’ve got rubber bands pulling tight behind the knee. The fun of growing older, right?
Thanks, Emma, for the link party!

What a lovely find Emma. The blouse is gorgeous. It looks great with the pink trousers but you can pair that with a lot. Jeans will look great too. I hope the knee situation ends swiftly for you. Foot and knee is not good xx
I’m sorry to read that your knee still hurts and keep my fingers crossed for a good result of the xray. Isn’t Vinted a great platform! I browse every day to search for unique items. Your blouse is a lovely one. Would be perfect on a denim skirt too!
What a fabulous blouse and outfit, Emma! And the little rainbow heart bag is just too cute! I am so sorry to about your knee. I hope you find some pain relief soon and it heels quickly for you!

Knee injuries aren’t fun, I hope you heal up fast. Love your floral top. Thanks for the party.
Thank you for featuring me and my post. I appreciate your support. Your blouse is so you. A great addition for your wardrobe. It’s also one of those pieces that work year round. Hence, a great deal. You styled it in a great way that the blouse works for fall. I am looking forward to see your styling inspirations of this blouse for the other seasons.
Your blouse is so beautiful. The way you paired it with the pink trousers makes such a fun outfit.
