After the recent heatwave, temperatures have dropped and the weather is feeling a teeny bit autumnal at times. It’s typical of late August really; the nights are drawing in and it can feel chilly when the sun goes down. A shirt dress is a really useful piece for this time of year because you can wear it with sandals or adapt it for cooler weather with ankle boots and a jacket.
Leopard print works all year round, so this shirt dress is perfect for the transition from summer to autumn. It’s currently reduced from £50 to £35, which is fantastic value. The fabric is lightweight and floaty, made even more comfortable by the elasticated waist. The D-ring belt accentuates the waist, giving a flattering shape. For size reference, I’m wearing a 10 and it’s true to size. I’ve teamed this animal print shirt dress with neutral accessories, but a bright colour would work really well too. Red and leopard print is always a winning combination; mustard and cobalt blue are great options too.
