Green Embellished Denim Jacket and Rainbow Striped Top + Style With a Smile Link Up

I said in Monday’s post that I’d bought something on holiday that would’ve been perfect for the Jeans and Jewels challenge. Well, this green embellished denim jacket was what I was referring to. I appreciate it’s not everyone’s cup of tea (including Isobel, who rolled her eyes when I decided to travel home in it), but I love it!

I first spotted the jacket when we were in Funchal the previous time, but I couldn’t justify paying €76.99 for it. Imagine my delight when I saw it on the sale rail for €39.99! I didn’t think twice about buying it this time! It feels lovely on, so comfortable. This green embellished denim jacket makes quite a statement, so I teamed it with trousers in the same shade.

I wanted to break it up a bit though so I chose this striped top which I bought on Vinted. The label is Saturday by Megan Ellaby and these tops retail for £40; even on resale sites they hold their value so this was a bargain at around £10 including postage. These tops do run small though; I have another one that I bought new so I knew a medium would be a tight fit. The fabric is stretch jersey but they are not super stretchy like some of my other high neck tops.

My gold trainers and crossbody bag pick out the studs on the jacket. (When in doubt, metallics are always a good option). I’ve added rainbow gemstone hoop earrings and a stripey bag strap to compliment the top. I also bought another jacket on holiday and a few Vinted purchases which I’m excited to wear!
