This week has turned out to be unexpectedly busy what with one thing and another. As a result, I’m posting a day later than usual. Hopefully it’s worth the wait! Today I was working in Birmingham and tomorrow I’m off to London to meet up with Jess…I can’t wait! Watch out on Instagram for updates 🙂
The temperature has been up and down recently but we are due for some warm – dare I say hot – weather next week! I’ve actually been wearing thick jumpers some days and T-shirts on others. But with some much needed sun in the forecast I can road test some holiday outfits! The two Izabel dresses I’ve featured recently (seen here and here) will definitely be going in my case…as will these leopard print trousers. When I was invited to choose a piece from the latest affiliate selection I was immediately drawn to them. I could tell from first glance that they would be so comfortable and floaty…and I was right!
In hot weather I can’t tolerate tight or clingy clothing, I just want light flowing fabrics that feel cool on the skin. These fabulous leopard print wide leg trousers are perfect for warmer temperatures. The billowy loose style is airy, and super comfortable thanks to the wide stretch waistband. I also really like the placement of the pockets, which is slightly lower than expected. It looks like I’m wearing a skirt…so I had to show just how wide the legs are in the last photo!
I’ve paired them with this blue embellished vest top that I bought in Madeira. Leopard print goes with any colour doesn’t it? Instead of sandals, I opted for my Vivaia leopard print loafers which are like wearing slippers. I finished off the look with my gold crossbody bag, statement ring and oversized sunglasses.

Emma, these trousers are so cool! They remind me of the jeans we wore in the 70s! Only, I’m guessing these are much more comfortable! I love them combined with blue, too! Thanks for the link up. I’m not currently able to link up on my laptop, but I will try to join in next week!

We are going to Rye on Sunday, so we are so lucky with the weather! How great to meet up with Jess, have a fabulous time! You look amazing in those trousers, and that top is very very pretty!
Those wide leg, leopard print trousers and fabulous, they are so wide I thought they were a maxi skirt! Leopard goes with everything and I love in with brights. Your blue top with appliquéd flowers is so cute. Such a joy to be able to meet up with Jess, a blogger from across the pond! Hope you have a wonderful, meet up together!
I absolutely love those leopard-print trousers—they’re so flowy, they almost look like a skirt! And all for wearing animal prints with bold colors!
