Apologies for being a day late with the link up. I had really bad lower back pain yesterday and just couldn’t sit comfortably to type. Thankfully it’s much better today. I’ve driven to my mum’s who’s finally out of hospital after six weeks. Since having a pacemaker fitted and another heart procedure we’re hoping she will be coming to stay with me soon.
Now the temperatures are falling it seemed like a good time to wear my green shaggy faux fur coat again. It’s one of those items of clothing that just makes me feel happy when I put it on. I don’t care if I resemble an overstuffed Kermit the frog in this outfit! Green is a calming colour – it’s obviously another case of dopamine dressing! The last time I wore it was with my green frilly blouse (featured in last week’s post) and H&M x Iris Apfel brocade trousers.
This top was available in two prints and I couldn’t decide which one to buy…so I bought both! (I wore the other one with my green faux leather biker jacket). They are so stretchy and comfortable but not too thin, perfect for wearing alone or with an additional layer, such as a vest. I picked out the black and white in the print with my accessories. With a big dose of bright green, the outfit didn’t really need another bright colour. The white boots and bag give the outfit a bit of a retro vibe which I love. I can envisage so many fun and colourful outfits built around this green shaggy faux fur coat…expect to see it many more times!

What a fun coat, the colour is amazing. Thanks for hosting the linkup. Have a great week x Jacqui
I love this look, Emma! The retro vibe is just the icing on the cake. The shaggy green coat is amazing. And you in no way resemble a shaggy green Kermit. LOL!

What a good news about your mother! That’s a relief right?
I have a DvF top in almost exact the same colours and print. What a fabulous coat! Could use it right now it’s so bloody cold.
Love it all but especially the fur jacket (so like my Iris one, you’re inspiring me to wear it, when it’s not so cold!) and the top – OMG. Sold out in my size, what great taste we have! Wish your back better soonest. Suzi x
The green is amazing! The coat is fabulous!

Love this vibrant green color on you, and the furry coat is amazing! Bright, fun color is such a balm on winter days. So glad to hear your mother is recovering well and is home from the hospital. Thanks for the link up, and thanks so much for including me in last week’s favorites!
Oh wow! Thanks so much for the feature! I so appreciate it! LOVE the color in your outfit…same color as the green in my featured dress. Thanks for the party!
You certainly don’t look like Kermit the frog, Emma! This whole ensemble is so you, I love it!
I wore a blouse last week that reminded me of you… I’ve included it in the link-up (the blue Zara shirt).
Big hugs

Wow what a great jacket- and the colour! I have a fun shaggy vest, but am always on the lookout for a jacket like this!
