It was my turn to pick a theme for December’s Style Not Age challenge. Given my love for bold prints – and that it’s panto season – I chose Prints Charming! After buying this shirt from the Iris Apfel x H&M collection (the one that sold out in minutes) on eBay earlier in the year, I finally found the trousers on Vinted. Both were bargains really, as I’ve seen pieces from the collection listed for silly amounts. I’ve been lucky (and persistent) in my quest to acquire the items I wanted when it launched. I missed out then, but have played the long game. I refused to pay over the odds and have waited literally years to find this outfit, the pea pod print suit and the maxi skirt and matching blouse (not featured on the blog yet) for roughly the RRP. Most, if not all, have been new with tags too.
The shaggy green coat that I’ve worn over the pea pod print suit would be perfect for this co-ord. (It’s not the coat from the Iris collection, but a lookalike from Forever Unique.) I didn’t need much in the way of accessories with this outfit, just my gold trainers, dark green bag and gold jewellery.

I love the Prints Charming idea! So clever! This outfit is so totally you, Emma! You know your style and always look fantastic. Good for you for playing the long game and getting what you wanted at a fraction of the cost. Iris Apfel was such an icon! I always think of her when I’m putting on my accessories!
