I’m running behind with all things blog and social media related this week…a whole day late with the link up! Yesterday I just ran out of steam and had to park it. I think all the gardening I did on Monday and Tuesday caught up with me! (BTW, these garden waste bags are brilliant for when the green bill is full – we filled them several times over).
Anyway, this slouchy floral print suit is what I wore to work on Sunday. I’ve worn these trousers on the blog twice before – first in August 2021 and again in February last year. I bought the matching jacket shortly after the trousers but this is the first time I’ve worn them together here. I do wear the suit frequently for work, as I do all my other Monki suits in this style. (You can see them here, here, here and here). The loose, unstructured fit isn’t really the most figure flattering style, but it is very comfortable. It’s also really useful to have a collection of trouser suits that I can put on with a pair of trainers and a T-shirt and still look like I’ve made an effort!
I haven’t purchased much new recently but I have bought a few things on Vinted – one of which I’m wearing for Monday’s Thrifty Six post. I love browsing on Vinted – much more than eBay now. I’ve sold a few things on the app and Isobel has started buying and selling too. My charity shop visits have been fruitless lately, there seems to be more and more cheap fast fashion from the likes of Boohoo on the rails. I see lots of TikToks where people go into charity shops and find some fabulous pieces…I’m obviously looking in the wrong places because I can’t find any!

So in love with this pretty print of this suit! It’s so fun and I adore the large agate cocktail ring. It really stands out. Thanks for the link up Emma!

That’s a very pretty suit. Such one you keep on looking at! I have to say that I haven’t found anything special on Vinted lately. And selling is slow too. And in shops I haven’t been for a while. But that’s the charm right, to search and search.
Love this fun suit! The print is amazing and I love the colors! Thanks for the link up!

Amazingly colourful outfit! Your colleagues must look forward to your latest outfit. I don’t often find anything in charity shops either, or Vinted. eBay is still my favourite.
I think wearing the matching jacket with the pants is a great idea, any kind of suit is very much in vouge right now. Like the t-shirt, it kind of brings it all together.
This is such a fun print!

Your pant suit is so beautiful. I love the other options you shared on your post.
What a great suit Emma – love the casual glamour. I love having a good browse on vinted too and buy from there and eBay frequently. I need to up my game as I have quite a few items to sort to sell. I agree re the garden bags – we’ve been preparing our garden for winter, what a job it is.
